His Grace Radha Krishna Dāsa is a Vaiṣṇava teacher, educator, and initiating spiritual master in the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Based at ISKCON Houston, he has dedicated over three decades to devotional service, education, and spiritual mentorship across multiple continents.
Spiritual Background
His Grace began his spiritual journey in 1984, joining the Hare Krishna movement in Singapore under the guidance of His Holiness Tamal Krishna Goswami. He received initiation in Melbourne, Australia on July 29th, 1990, and in April 1992, made the life-changing decision to leave a career in information technology to serve his spiritual master full-time.
For three years he traveled extensively with His Holiness Tamal Krishna Goswami as his personal secretary and servant, accompanying him across the world — from North America to Europe, Fiji, Australia, Hong Kong, Vṛndāvana, and Māyāpur. This period of close personal service under one of ISKCON's most distinguished preachers and GBC members profoundly shaped his understanding of Vaiṣṇava philosophy, devotional practice, and spiritual leadership.
In 1997, when His Holiness Tamal Krishna Goswami entered college at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, His Grace served as his personal cook and attendant. He was also present during Gurudeva's recovery from surgery in 1999, providing dedicated personal care through that period. When his Guru Maharaja later pursued his PhD at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom, His Grace was invited to join ISKCON Houston — a community he has served faithfully ever since.
Service & Teaching
As Director of Education at ISKCON Houston, His Grace has been instrumental in building a structured and welcoming educational environment for devotees at all levels. He established foundational śāstric programs including Bhakti Śāstrī and Bhakti Vaibhāva courses, helping hundreds of devotees deepen their understanding of sacred scripture and devotional philosophy. He holds degrees in both programs.
His teaching service extends well beyond Houston:
- Since 2005, he has traveled regularly to Hong Kong and China, teaching and mentoring local devotee communities in the fundamentals of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. He also visits Australia annually.
- In 2006, he was invited by ISKCON Seattle to teach Bhakti Śāstrī to their community. He played a pivotal role in guiding those devotees through graduation and helped them establish their own education center.

Within ISKCON Houston, His Grace serves in a wide range of capacities:
- Director of Education, overseeing śāstric study programs

Initiating Spiritual Master
His Grace Radha Krishna Dāsa holds the esteemed position of ISKCON initiating spiritual master, accepting disciples and guiding them on the path of bhakti-yoga. He is known for his warmth, directness, and genuine care for the spiritual growth of those under his guidance. His decades of experience in personal service, education, and community leadership give him a rare depth of insight that he brings to his role as a guru.
A Life Shaped by Service
What distinguishes His Grace is not only the breadth of his service but the depth of character it has cultivated. Trained in the most demanding school of personal service to a great spiritual master, he carries forward the living tradition of disciplic succession with humility and quiet strength. His own words offer perhaps the clearest window into his outlook:
"I am who I am because of the mercy of my spiritual master. If I do something wonderful today, it is because I learned something from him."
He continues to teach, mentor, travel, and serve — offering the gifts of a lifetime of devotion to all who seek his association.
